The Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair Corn Maze Superdrop goes on sale on October 12, 2026, at 9 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. in Brasília), with eight drops and 46 cards — including collaborations with Jim Henson's film Labyrinth, the animated KPop Demon Hunters and Marvel Zombies. Each drop costs US$ 29.99 (non-foil) or US$ 39.99 (foil). Is it worth it? We added up the current price of every card to show which drops pay for what they cost.
What did Wizards announce?
Wizards of the Coast unveiled the Corn Maze Superdrop on September 30, 2026, on the official Magic website. The sale is exclusive to the Secret Lair store (MagicSecretLair.com) and starts on October 12 at 9 a.m. PT; the pre-queue opens an hour earlier. According to TheGamer, at 9 a.m. the waiting room closes and queue order is randomized.
Prices are the same for every drop:
- Each drop — US$ 29.99 non-foil or US$ 39.99 foil.
- Pumpkin Spiced Non-Foil Bundle (all eight, non-foil) — US$ 239.92.
- Full Moon Foil Bundle (all eight, foil) — US$ 319.92.
- A-Maize-Ing Everything Bundle (all eight in both versions) — US$ 539.99, or US$ 19.85 less than buying the 16 items separately (US$ 559.84, our math).
There is also a bonus: one foil Maze of Ith, named "The Labyrinth" with art by Mark Poole, for every US$ 199 spent, "while supplies last," according to the announcement. Orders over US$ 99 ship free.
Which cards come in each drop?
There are 46 cards, all reprints with new art. In the licensed drops, some of them get a character name (the original name is still printed on the card).
- Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Fear Me, Love Me — Muxus, Goblin Grandee as "Jareth, Goblin King", Boggart Shenanigans, Dance with Calamity, Goblin Rabblemaster, Claim the Firstborn ("The Kidnapping of Toby") and Trinisphere as "I've Brought You a Gift".
- Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Should You Need Us — Jodah, the Unifier as "Sarah, Champion to the Lost", Lu Xun, Scholar General as Sir Didymus (reversible card), Kami of the Crescent Moon, Kogla, the Titan Ape as "Ludo, Rock Caller", Shigeki, Jukai Visionary and Wort, Boggart Auntie as "Hoggle, Heart in Conflict".
- Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Through the Labyrinth — Timely Ward, Chronomantic Escape, Delayed Blast Fireball, Tempt with Discovery, Leveler, Thran Temporal Gateway and Rogue's Passage.
- KPop Demon Hunters: How It's Done — Dawn's Truce, Unbreakable Formation, Freed from the Real, Swan Song, Demonic Counsel, Tempt with Immortality and Underworld Breach, with their original names.
- Marvel: Zombies — Unstoppable Slasher, Zombie Apocalypse, Vogar, Necropolis Tyrant (Zombie Giant-Man), God-Eternal Bontu (Zombie Thor), Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver (Zombie Captain America) and Varina, Lich Queen (Zombie Scarlet Witch).
- Artist Series: Veronique Meignaud — Bloodsoaked Champion, Voldaren Pariah, Ashnod's Altar and Cabal Stronghold.
- Manufactured Grounds by See Machine — the five artifact lands Ancient Den, Seat of the Synod, Vault of Whispers, Great Furnace and Tree of Tales.
- Peace, Love, & Treefolk — Dauntless Dourbark, Leaf-Crowned Elder, Timber Protector, Treefolk Harbinger and Doran, the Siege Tower, in a 1970s style by Ashley Dreyfus.
All 46 cards, plus The Labyrinth bonus card, are already listed on Scryfall with an October 12, 2026 release date.

How much are each drop's cards worth?
We added up the price of the cheapest copy of each card in the drop, in any existing printing: TCGplayer market price aggregated by Scryfall, non-foil, English, checked on October 5, 2026. The Spark MTG did the same math on September 30, and both results are shown side by side:
- Peace, Love, & Treefolk — US$ 49.65 (The Spark: US$ 49.86)
- Fear Me, Love Me — US$ 48.93 (The Spark: US$ 48.92)
- Should You Need Us — US$ 43.69 (The Spark: US$ 43.37)
- How It's Done (KPop Demon Hunters) — US$ 33.14 (The Spark: US$ 32.77)
- Through the Labyrinth — US$ 28.98 (The Spark: US$ 29.29)
- Artist Series: Veronique Meignaud — US$ 26.34 (The Spark: US$ 20.71)
- Marvel: Zombies — US$ 19.08, without Vogar, which has no US dollar price on Scryfall (The Spark: US$ 18.33)
- Manufactured Grounds — US$ 10.18 (The Spark: US$ 7.62)
The two counts diverge on Veronique Meignaud and Manufactured Grounds — the date and the printing taken as "the cheapest" differ — but in both cases the total stays below US$ 29.99.
Which cards carry the most value?
A few cards carry the value of each drop. Prices for the cheapest copy, non-foil, on October 5, 2026:
- Trinisphere — US$ 34.11, on its own more than the US$ 29.99 the Fear Me, Love Me drop costs.
- Wort, Boggart Auntie — US$ 29.48; the only printing with a price is the Lorwyn one.
- Timber Protector — US$ 22.98, almost half of the treefolk drop's value.
- Ashnod's Altar — US$ 13.25 (Chronicles); the Commander Masters version is at US$ 16.56.
- Cabal Stronghold — US$ 12.34.
- Swan Song — US$ 9.99.
- Underworld Breach — US$ 6.73 for the cheapest promo; the Theros Beyond Death printing is at US$ 10.84.
At the other end, the Manufactured Grounds artifact lands range from US$ 0.91 (Seat of the Synod) to US$ 4.29 (Vault of Whispers) — hence that drop's low total.

Can you buy it from Brazil?
Yes. According to the Secret Lair help center (page updated on January 20, 2026), Brazil is among the destinations of the US store and qualifies for DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping on orders under US$ 2,500: partner Scalefast charges import duties and fees at checkout and pays them on your behalf at customs. The same FAQ warns that orders can take up to 3 weeks to ship after the release date. Shipping and tax amounts are not listed on the page.
What changes for buyers, sellers and collectors
- Players who just want the card: in the Veronique Meignaud, Marvel Zombies and Manufactured Grounds drops, the singles cost less than US$ 29.99 — there, you are buying the art.
- Owners of older versions looking to sell: Trinisphere, Wort, Timber Protector, Ashnod's Altar and Cabal Stronghold are the most expensive cards getting new copies. Note today's price and see who buys and sells on Collector Union, as in Trinisphere on Explore.
- Collectors: the foil version costs US$ 10 more per drop.
- Buyers in Brazil: the order is in US dollars, with taxes charged at checkout (DDP); check the total in the cart before you pay.
- Anyone after the bonus card: The Labyrinth comes with every US$ 199 spent — the full bundle (US$ 539.99) earns two copies. The cheapest Maze of Ith, from Dominaria Remastered, is at US$ 9.62 (non-foil, October 5).

Our take
This section is opinion, based on the numbers above.
By the singles math, Peace, Love, & Treefolk is the best value drop: it comes close to US$ 50 with five cards that form the core of a treefolk Commander deck, commander included (Doran). Fear Me, Love Me is close behind, but it leans heavily on a single card — Trinisphere accounts for about 70% of the total, and a reprint like this one is exactly the kind of event that can move its price.
The KPop Demon Hunters and Through the Labyrinth drops sit near break-even, and the Veronique Meignaud, Marvel Zombies and Manufactured Grounds drops are about the art. Buying Secret Lair for the art is what the product is for, but in those three you pay a premium over the cards.
